Music Matters

The Rolling Stones are very much noted for splendid songs such as “Satisfaction”, “You Can't Always Get What You Want”, “Wild Horses”, “Gimme Shelter”, and “Sympathy for the Devil”. It is when I listened to Exile on Main Street when I realized that the Rolling Stones were a truly great band, given that the songs mentioned above were not in the album. Exile on Main Street is arguably the best Rolling Stones album ever created.

Exile on Main Street is not an album that you would expect to find standout hits. The album is rather a collection of american blues, gospel, country, and rock influences that are blended together beautifully. The album is about letting it all loose, listening to great music accompanied with beer and barbecue on a lazy afternoon. “Tumbling Dice”, “Rocks Off”, “Happy”, “Rip this Joint”, and “All Down the Line” best express this one of a kind journey. Exile on Main Street joins the list of the greatest albums of all time.

About Me

User Img

The air that I breathe is music. My life has been governed by melodies and rhythms. Ever since I was a boy, music creates in my mind depending on the inspiration. I have been writing music for the past 20 years. From the Indian influences in the east, to the electro-funk beats of the west, music is my obsession to live.
